The Delta just cuts down on drone I believe. I had a 00' F150 with Delta 40's and it rumbled pretty good. 3.5" in and out, must have been a big truck they were going on.

Delta 40's are nice if you want some rumble that isn't to loud, but yet aggressive sounding. The 40's "Originals" are louder, throatier, and very aggressive sounding(depending on the midpipe). The Delta 40's are a nice muffler.
I had them on my GT for 4 years,i know have the 40's "Originals",but my GT is no daily driver. So they don't get to me.
I plan to put my left over Flowmaster Delta 40 on my F 150 this summer. So basically day to day,it is a nice muffler.

If I do not sell them ... any ideas how I can reduce them to 2.5" diameter? The plan was that they were going on my 5.9 Durango (had 3" ) everywhere ... but the "D" is gone now ...

Anyhow, so I started thinking that I might use them on my stang ... but thinking here might make the muffler way longer than it should be (by welding pieces to reduce the diameter).

Anyhow ... that's the reason they are for sale else I would have kept for project 2 - the stang.

If anyone has any bright ideas on reducing the pipes .... the front of the muffler to the midpipe I do not see as a problem .... it's the back part to the tailpipes ....

Anyhow .. let me know

My F150 has a 3" single in dual out muffler on it with 2.5" piping, the guy at the exhaust shop I got it done at created an adapter with piping to reduce the outlet to 2.5". You could try that but attaching a piece of 3" to the 3.5" and then attach a piece of 2.5" to the 3" piece to get it to 2.5".

I was thinking along the same lines .. just don't want the muffler to be 3 feet long when it's all said and done ...
