Odyssey lightweight battery kit S197 Mustang/GT500

Do you own a S197 late model Mustang and wish to drop some pounds off the front end of the car? A quick and easy way to do that is to replace that heavy car battery in the passenger engine compartment with a lightweight one.

The typical Mustang battery with the box and all the components to mount it will weigh around 40-45 pounds. The kit I developed using a small Odyssey battery will weigh less than half of that. It's a good way to drop an easy 20+ pounds off the front end of your car.

The kit composes an Odyssey PC680 battery, it's tiny but packed with power to start and maintain all the electronics in your Mustang. The rest of the kit includes an alum. plate with a plastic tray and all fasteners to install it to your car.

The best part is you can remove your stock stuff and can easily install it back in if you wish, there is no modding needed to your car to run this battery. I ran this kit on my 2013 GT500 for 2 years with no issue.

Combine this kit with a lightweight K member and lower rad support and you can easily shave almost 50lbs. off the front end of a S197 Mustang.

Please see pic and also the video (2:20 in) to see how the battery is installed.

Here is info on the Odyssey PC680 battery:

Asking $220.00. Price of the kit includes installation (that's right, I'll install it in your Mustang, takes less than an hour to install). Call, text 416-919-1769 or PM for more info.
