So, I'm looking at picking up a little boost for the SN95 3.8L and am torn between what I believe to be the only two superchargers offered for this little pony.

1. 1994-98 Mustang V6 ProCharger High Output P-1SC Supercharger w/Intercooler (11psi)

2. 1994-98 Mustang 3.8L V6 Vortech Supercharger Kit (V2 S-Trim)

Anybody have either of these blowers mounted on their SN95's and would be willing to share some pics, experiences, or recommendations?

I do not have a 3.8 but there is nobody wiser than Tom Morrana on the 3.8 engine. Give him a call and see what he has to say.

I have no doubt Tom Morana is an extremely knowledgeable guy. I've read a lot about him and Morana Racing Engines. Unfortunately, I've heard very mixed reviews about Morana Racing and I don't have the budget to experiment. I think I'm just gonna stick to one of these two Suprechargers and then get my core engine components (cam, upper and lower intake, heads, plus forged internals) From Tom over at Super Six Motorsports. I've never read anything negative about those guys - I've spoken to Tom over email and over the phone and he's very professional. Expensive, but professional. I figure I'll go supercharger and then a Stage 3 Powerpack - should add roughly an additional 150 HP to the stock 150 HP. I'll be happy with 300 plus HP.

Worst thing I have heard about Morrana are related to his time lines never his quality.

i would deff go for a split port swap (99-04 heads/intake) and then possibly a mysteed M112 blower or TMA turbo.

only issue i see with ur timeline is that i would recomend getting the engine work done first, THEN the power adder. with the engine work, it'll run forever, but running boost, you just may strand yourself with a blown rod or whatever other problem of putting that poor old engine through. i thought of putting a turbo on the civic, but i'd never do it till i have a cammed and forged internal K20 in there (cams are comming ) but none the less the easiest way is to do a 4.2 swap, with split port, and go from there. a 4.2 with S/P will gain you i've heard up too 50-70hp over a stock single port. and the new setup takes boost pretty well!!!

^^^ These are all great ideas. I wasn't leaning towards a turbo setup only because I don't know much about them or if a kit even exists for the SN95 V6. I do know there much for efficient and powerful.

As for the split port swap - are there kits that they sell to do it or do you have to kinda find parts from here and therer to make it work? Is there any custom fabrication involved?

The supercharger / SSM combo just seemed like the least complicated way to get the 300 HP mark at a cost of roughly between $6000.00 and $7000.00.

Yep, andy at TMA turbo makes a few different designs for V6 mustangs, anything from mild street setups, bigger single turbo GT killers, and even a GT500 killing twin turbo setup *drools at thought*

and as of right this instant i cannot find the splitport swap info, but i did find my link to the 4.2 swap info.

the splitport swap is basically just swapping out the 94-98 heads/intakes for the more effective 99-04 setup. but you will have to look for a 99-00 intake if you want to keep things easier( to avoid the IMRC AKA: butterfly valves) if you are getting a power pack from SSM i would ask them if they have the info on the swap. the power pak they sell IS basicall all you need, with a few minor things. i'll keep my eyes open for ya on more info. the only thing i'm not sure about is the fuel rail, because the SN95 was a return style while the new edge was a returnless.
