These tires will start smoking with hardly any throttle. Hopefully this summer I can score some DRs, but lots of money going into the motor ($7500.00)
Great idea on the dr

Those numbers total 360 HP but I'm guessing that that combo will yield closer to 300 HP. Those engine mods plus gears, tighter suspension and a few extra's here and there (cold air intake, etc.) and it'll be quite the 232ci. It won't be the fastest V6 but it'll definetly keep up with a stock SN95 Cobra! I don't want her to have a race car, just something with a bit of pep that she'll be proud of. Sadly, the 150 HP that came with the SN95 's is very underpowered for the size / weight of the car - it's a chore to even pass on the highway sometimes.
You will have to instruct her on the finer points of driving with that hp

Oh yes. We've already spoken about that. Lol. I agreed the car was hers - never said anything about the keys!

Thanks, Tom is building me a forged 4.2 stroker long block with ported heads and intakes.

I would assume you enjoy the road track days as opposed to the straight line stuff. If I could get over the fact my car would get filthy I would much prefer the road racing 10-1 over the drag racing

I know this is an older thread, but i am just trying to get caught up here, being a newb and all. There is a guy local to me who has a 1994 T- Bird SC and he runs a magnacharger on it. The car puts out 550+ hp. There is also guys running in the tens in the states with these 4000 lb cars. Some those SC guys are really hardcore and can run big numbers. I am a sbf guy and get ragged on by those guys who run these cars as i converted mone but i think they are pretty impressive.

I've never read anything negative about those guys - I've spoken to Tom over email and over the phone and he's very professional. Expensive, but professional. I figure I'll go supercharger and then a Stage 3 Powerpack - should add roughly an additional 150 HP to the stock 150 HP. I'll be happy with 300 plus HP.
Well..I have an 04 Coupe with the 3.9L which rated 193 bhp. The car has a manual trans, dual exhaust, Steeda underdrive pulley, Morana racing Stage 3+ heads, Morana racing B grind cam and Morana Racing 1.73:1 roller rockers and the VAP Auto Windstar intake kit. Dyno'd at 255 RWHP..which when you use the generally accepted divide RWHP by 0.8 equals about 318 BHP on a 91 octane tune..and the tune still needs to get fully sorted out..I'm not happy yet as it isn't quite there yet...Oh and not a forced induction system to be seen....
