I know nothing about superchargers

:)Greetings,

All I know about superchargers is...they can make a quick car go stoopid fast.
and that the whine I hear in no way resembles the whine of a petulant wife or child.
So,I am going to approach this lack of knowledge like this...
Rather than ask many specific questions and rely on the good graces of you fine folk to answer me in a way my addled brain can comprehend, I am going to ask 1 question ,and then reverse engineer , so to speak.
My question is;
If I wanted to destroy my engine,supercharger- et al,how would I go about doing it ?
My cars Deets are as follows...Not sure when the s/c was added,I bought the car used.
08 GT,
4.6,
Roush M-90 ,
49000 K.
I have been using 94 octane gas .
I Thank you!! any and all who respond to my query:)

Lots of Boost and lots of timing with no fuel should destroy it.

Your motor and trans is good for around 450whp, with the roush m90 charger you should be around 420 crank hp. Nothing to worry about. You probably have the roush tune so you're good to go!

That being said don't use anything under 91 octane, don't stay in boost for too long in 5th gear and everything should be fine. Also make sure your cats stay good and don't get plugged and you should have no problems.

Long highway drives will be fine as long as you don't have your foot to the floor the whole time.

I thank u for your response Gentlemen.
I am planning a road trip of many ,many Kms and the more info I garner ,
the better prepared I will be,
When I leave ,time will become a factor,so speed and durability will indeed be issues to be dealt with.
