Nitrous 03 Mach 1 Carbureted With Distributor
#64
Thanks gentlemen. Drove it home from the shop (37mi) what a trip.!! Good test for true street class.. I've had it out a couple of times the last few days. Shifting at 7700 rpms hitting 2nd & 3rd is easy with this built TKO 500 that has been face plated. The Mach is scary fast N/A!!! More then before when it was a factory motor on a 150-175 shot.. It's also much lighter now.
Once I put some more miles on the motor/trans, then it goes back to the dyno to start with the 150-200 shots for some numbers.

Ran into some problems. Had to replace the Aeromotive fuel pump with a MagnaFuel 275 Quick Star pump with external tank bypass. Manual brake master cylinder causing some brake issues.
No track time yet, just street time.

Hmmm, I just bought a complete Aerospace fuel system to feed the 825 Demon on the 357, hope I have better luck than you did. Did you change the pedal ratio when you converted to manual brakes?

The brake pedal has been modified for the additional leverage converting to manual. I think I have 2 problems. I have to pull the brake pedal back with my foot to keep the brakes from engaging lightly. Also, I get a hard pedal and then I get a very soft pedal. My line lock solenoid is mounted higher then the mastercylinder, this may be causing a problem too??
