The brake pedal has been modified for the additional leverage converting to manual. I think I have 2 problems. I have to pull the brake pedal back with my foot to keep the brakes from engaging lightly. Also, I get a hard pedal and then I get a very soft pedal. My line lock solenoid is mounted higher then the mastercylinder, this may be causing a problem too??

I have found the tech guys at Wilwood to be very helpful. Good luck man.

It might be more consistent, would say reliable is about the same, but more power to be had from the carb. Just my thoughts, please anybody correct me if I am wrong. I am new to nitrous, a big shot scares me a little.

Thanks!! Sounds good!!! Let me know what number you are making. No new numbers. Ran into an electrical problem that caused my electric water pump & fuel pump to stop working and I was stranded on the street. I was taking it to a car show at work and never made it, had to get a flat bed. It's now back at the shop in Norwalk getting this problem and others straighten out, but no cost to me. The shop even came out to my house and picked the vehicle up with no charge. Once taken care of, then the big nitrous shots on the dyno.

Fuel injection has a much broader power range and is more effecient vs carb. But, a well tuned carb is hard to beat at WOT..

I have seen the pro/cons to each and luckily I do not have 1/1000 of the skill required to worry about this problem lol

I like your style Phil, I almost threw an Edelbrock Carburated intake on mine halfway through the build. Is your system activated at WOT or with a progressive controller?

It's activated by a WOT micro switch mounted on the carburator throttle linkage. My MSD digital 7 plus ignition retards the timming when it see the WOT switch activate.

I have never used a progressive controler.
