Turbo more efficient. But for Daily Driver, I think I would take a Blower....IMO

When you have a boosted applicaion you need a IC engine love the cold air just common sence!

Besides who in there right mind wants to share there engine oil with there HOT SuperCharger, there was no way I was going to tap into my oil pan I would get either KB but if its out of you price range id get a cent. blower that if SC "Self Contained" so you dont have to share your engine oil. If the engine blows the S/Cer wont be sucking up bad oil from a pooched engine or vise versa.

Supercharger for low end, on the ball power. Turbo for insane top end power.

the sts rear mount turbos dont have turbo lag at all they actually have less then a traditional turbo beacause they all have a remote system, they kick in instantly and are ridiculously quick if you get the twins and then you also can get rid of mufflers and straightpipe back from the x cause the turbos will quiet the car down enough they are jsut a lot more expensive then a supercharger kit. even the hellion turbo kits are more expensive then most supercharger kits and that a single turbonetics 62mm turbo and all the fuel system upgrades.

i would go with a supercharger. i prefer centrifical, prochargers are way nice but paxtons and vortechs are a lot cheaper and still give lots of power

For the price and up keep ( new rods, new tranny and new rear end ) of a turbo would be too much for a once and a while track car. IF you dont plan on upgrading everything to handle to Tq and HP that a turbo will make than your going to eventually have a pretty expensive paper weight. Most reliable turbo systems can put out 460 Tq and thats going to cause problems to a stock tranny.

I purchased my Centri...P1SC blower and installed it with the recommended 8 psi and got a conservative,,, very conservative tune and it still made about 370 rwhp and TQ. And trust me you noticed over 100rwp gain!! The whine of the Centri, especailly procharger at idle is a head turner at lights, especially if you pull up to other performance cars that know what a blower sounds like.

A positive displacement blower would be fun, that instant Tq that kicks in would create a fun street car. Ive been in a kenne bell mustang and the sound they make at WOT screams. Howver the price of a KB is going to run you a few more than a procharger.

Both systems either procharger, vortech or paxton would give you more than enough reliable power for your goals. A twin screw like KB would be ideal though for the street car.

Supercharger is nice. You get to retain most of your current setup, relocate some items and use a belt. Instant tq (which can also be done with turbos).
Superchargers are fairly low maintenance and the technology has been applied to hundreds of mustangs in the past, tried and proven track record.

Turbo kits are cheap these days but not nearly as cheap as a blower setup. It just seems easier to bolt on a blower.

I have ran both in the past and I am happy to say that i am pleased to stick with the blower setup

Mind you, on ebay the twin turbo kits are cheap! $1000
