I think the used car market will flourish, due to reduction of new sales. I was thinking of getting a new or newer pickup, but due to financial stresses, I have decided to dump a bunch into my Sport Trac. That truck is nearly paid for, and I don't see any huge reductions in car pricing, compared to the "recession" pricing I am seeing outside of the car market. I still believe that prices are going to drop further, but only once the gov starts kicking in rebates for replacing old vehicles, and the big three are hurting even more. All this just my $0.02. I can wait on the sale of the Mustang, as I know what the car is. And it's paid for. Worst case scenario, I keep it, give the wife a Sport Trac to haul kiddies around, and start modifying the Stang. Think I'd start with a twin turbo kit.......... ;-)
