04 Repaint question
#11
Bumpers never really match that well anyways, i see new cars day in day out, and 85% of them have manufacture Paint and the bumpercolor is off BIG time! I paint them every day, at least 3. Bumpers are a different composite from the body, it aint easy to get it dead on without blending. You also have to remember you are matching a sun fadded color aswell, (in some cases)Close is usually good enough
Even my side scoops don't match, rear facia don't match, and that is all factory LOL!

Thanks again for the help guys,
Here is the low down.... I will ask my neighbour if he will do it.... what he has done is start a little part time business in his garage cause he is a Firefighter and on 24hour shifts. So his business is fixing... plastic welding and repainting street bike parts... I am sure he will be able to do the bumper in small paint booth, I can get the paint from Ford (where i used to work) and it should match.... i will have to address the stone chips on the hood, but it would be nice to get a new one... maybe paint it a different colour.... who knows...
Thank you once again guys, oh and my car is Black on Black on Black on Black!
