Wow -I missed this little exchange.
Hey SNAKEBITE - where you at with your "bitter attitude" comments now? These two guys are getting into the hurt feelings, bruised egos and name calling already. I gotta start taking "how to" notes!!!
Seriously guys, not sure what all the fuss is about. I'm not a big audiophile anyway, so I don't really pay attention too much to what you're arguing about (with the exception of the chest thumping and name calling)
Gimme the sound of dual exhaust and smoking tires anytime. But, it has been entertaining. Since you're both in Ontario, maybe you need to meet up in person and discuss over a cup of Tim Horton's crappiest - I suspect the outcome might be different. Key statement in the whole exchange was "internet forum". Argue your points, be passionate about your beliefs, but jeez, not worth it to get all huffy. My two cents - please feel free to tell me to f@%* off, but do it nicely -this isn't The Den, and thus is subject to closer scrutiny by the Moderators. (hint hint)
Incidentally, my Shaker500 works pretty good!

On another note...This has turned into a pretty lively thread around here! lol

There's been wars started over a lot less - going along with the ********/opinions commentary, you could add taking things a little too seriously to the list as well.

Shaker500
Hi guys
I just a 2007 for my wife which has a Shaker 500.
I don't know much about it but it sure does seem like it is already connected to an amp system.
I read somewhere earlier that they have an amp in the trunk under the liner but I haven't looked there yet. This Mustang is a rag top and the back speakers are in the doors so Im not sure if the amp would be in the trunk.
Anyway what Im wondering about is; I have a Kenwood DDX376BT Touch Screen head end that I am thinking of installing. So what would I connect, the speaker wires or the audio out jacks? Im pretty sure the Shaker is feeding an amp also pretty sure Im going to have to use the audio outs but the wiring harness in the mustang is not fitted with RCA plugs.
so also wondering if there is some kind of adaptor harness to go from an after market head end using RCA's to the mustangs wiring harness to feed this amp(s)?
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the Mustangs head end harness?
Is there anyone out there thats done this before? I mean hoo an after market into the mustangs amp.
Thanks
Gary
