update on my situation:
well i finally got a quote from a good shop in Nelson BC $7000.00 taxes in. and this includes rapairing damage to the car (small dings. one on each side.) and shaving off ALL emblems except the Ford oval, and shaving the antenna and the key hole on the driver side door.
color is black with pearl blue

I totally hear you and feel you bro. Love my bright atlantic blue colour and it just shimmers and gleams and attracts attention and soooo much beauty! And I too have things I notice and they bug me when I discover or re-discover. And I'm going to either get my girlfriends brother and my dad to help repaint the car which I already have some concepts that I am debating over. But never the less with the minor body work and chips and some exposed metal which will rust little more which I over react to already. But a fresh paint job will more than revive this car.
