yup yup. i kinda have this "road trip across the U.S. in a wicked car" fantasy. i wanna drive thru the mountains on the states side. i would like to go thru canada on the way there, depends on how much time i can get off. i havent been out west in years, would like to see where i used to live when i was little.

I've been there five times so far, to both the Ford and GM shows. Lots of fun however it rains every year at the Ford show. I prefer to stay in Harrisburg instead of Carlisle as it's much cheaper and still easy to get there on the interstate. The cruise at CJ Pony Parts is a blast as well.

looks fun but WAY to far for me. How many of you guys have done the Woodward cruise. Me twice
Been going down for Woodward since '99 - it's so much better than your usual car show, cause everyone seems to be running around with open headers and doing the occasional burnout, and not just sitting there parked like in a normal car show. As long as you keep it under control and not go crazy, the cops generally look the other way, but since you got a million or so people attending, if you get out of hand they'll light up the cherries and pull you over. It's so close, ( 1 hr or so), you can spend all day and not feel wiped out from driving. We got a buddy with an old full size van with windows, so a bunch of us pack the cooler and head down. If you get a chance, go. Haven't been to Carlisle yet though.
