You're telling me!

I just want to protect my damn car and make it look good with nice coats of wax. I fail to see how I can accomplish that if I am going to have road dirt driving back from the car wash to my house.

Like hell I want to use the brush as the car wash that people have used on their tires, etc to wash my car. It's really frustrating to be honest.

I say wash it in your driveway. They aren't going to be out on car wash patrol.

Ok, well I'm sure a few of you are going to laugh and call me an idiot, but I have sort of the same problem, except there's no bylaw stating I can't wash my car in the driveway, but with the water we have, my nice shiny blue car will turn dull white, and trust me the water spots from water this hard, is almost impossible to get rid of.....Sooooo, what I do (this is the crazy part) is after I wash my car at the car wash, I idle home (pissing off all the other motorists behind me) and spend the $6-$10 on 2 jugs of Culligan/purified water and rinse my entire car with them, and then dab dry with a couple of micro fibre drying towels.....Then wax away!
PS: My wife has threatened to have me committed to the crazy house because of this, but hey it's worth it in my opinion, and absolutely no water spots on the windows or anything else.
