Glass roof?

Has anyone seen the glass roof install on the new style mustangs? I hear 2009 will be an option

Talking

I have not seen one installed. I wonder though if too much sunlight coming through the roof on a really bright day will be a distraction? I'd also be concerned about the amount of cranium protection in a crash. If I had the extra cash I would probably buy one though as I am sure it would be a collector's item.

When we were at Woodward last summer, we took the Saleen plant tour and they had a Saleen with the glass roof. It looked pretty neat.

As for it being a distraction with too much light coming in...no more than a convertible. The Saleen rep said the roof passed with flying colours in the rollover tests.

Here's some pics...

Definately an option for 09'. Looking sleek as hell!

I posted this in the Ford News section about a month ago.

I personally wouldnt ever subject a vert to a winter. This roof seteup would be way more practical year round, and some people want to see the sky without feeling it

That looks cool.

Just get it tinted then you wont have any glare problems.
