well.... back to the ol' drawing board....
problem is not resolved...

they added felt to where the rubber is last time to prevent it... it lasts a little while then it resurfaces..
its the inside of the window... the felt on the inside is getting dust and scratching the tint...
the driver side seems to be fine but the passenger side likes to take the damage....
same problem j2stang is having...
its not just the top but all the way down..
its at 2 key points... the center and the end where the door closes (the end with the outer door handle). they were going to change the felt on the inside but its the same that he has already...so back to looking for other solutions as well as the shop looking for other solutions...

they have been more than helpful in trying to resolve this problem... if there is no permanent solution so far.. i will go back to get it re-tinted again for the window.. should be fine to avoid the dust problem at that time and then try to figure out something from there...

so any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated

I also have a 05 GT and my windows are scratched all the way from the top to the bottom
of both the drivers and passengers side windows. I was wondering if I was the only one with the problem. I was planning on changing the tint this after the winter and i will definately make sure there is some form of felt so i don't have to do it again.
