dart heads, will they work

dart heads, will they work

Hi guys , hoping someone can get me moving in the right direction, ill be purchasing some heads right away, they are the dart pro 1s and am wondering if they will bolt right up without any problems , 1 thing that im afraid i have to do is notch the pistion's , here are the specs on the heads along with a link , anyone running this size of head or has had any experince with them please chime in , im just more concerned about the size and if they will fit.


Heres the specs on the 1s id like to run . thanks

# Intake Ports: 195cc
# Combustion Chambers: 62cc
# Valves: 2.02" Int/1.60" Exh
# Angle Plug

or this 1, im sure this will bolt right up

# Intake Ports: 170cc
# Combustion Chambers: 62cc
# Valves: 1.94" Int/1.60" Exh
# Angle Plug

any head made for the 5.0 or even the 351w should bolt up without issue. Clearancing is sometimes an issue as is the bolt size. If the heads have the bolt size for the 351 you'll need the reducing washers for the bolts to fit the 302

What is done to the motor? Do you have a blower?

The motor is stock on the bottom end , on right now is a cobra upper and lower intake along with a 65 mm tb , when i get the heads a cam will be going in with it just not sure what kind yet. will those exaust valves be to big.

those valves should be fine for the stock 5.0
I'm running trickflows with the 2.02i 1.6e valves

exhaust ports are not the same need different headers from stocks not a big deal at least on older darts could of changed
