NEW GEARS 3:55 or 3:73

Hey;

Getting new gears
But which to get?

2004 GT
5 SPEED

I do quite a bit of highway driving but also do a lot of AROUND TOWN driving

I am just under 1500 RPM in 5th at 100KM/HR with the stock gears

I dont want to loose my gas milegae(I know I will loose some but thats why I am not going 4:10)

I am getting 32MPG highway

Are there any charts or anything that shows the RPM in each gear per REAR END RATIO?

Please let mw know all your opinions and what you are all running!

I was told by many I might as well go 3:73?

Thanks!

If I had the 4.6 id be going with 4.10's, but really I wouldn't go any less the 3.73's....
If you had a monster motor then id say go 3.55

4:10 + 4.6 = dead sexay. The fun factor more than makes up for the drop in gas mileage from 3:73's.

To be perfectly honest on the highway I didn't notice a HUGE drop going from my 3.27 to my 4.10 as long as you set the cruise you're laughing. I actually noticed better in the city after a gear changed.

I think I am going to go with the 3:73
Seems to be the best of both worlds

I find 3.73's are fine on the highway. Fuel economy is good. Revs are reasonable. 3.55's would be a waste of money in my view.

Anyone know a good place online to buy my 3:73?
Does it matter which "BRAND" I get?
