Hey everbody, I have a 2005 V6 with 18"Cobra rims and a magnaflow dual exhaust.

my only complaint is the muffler notesound great if you are outside the car but inside, esp on highway, it has no 'rasp' and is just a sort of droning hum.

any comments?

 

Welcome to the site. The only things I cam think of to get rid of drone would be to try either a new set of mufflers (such as FRPP GT-B bullitt mufflers, or Corsa--Big $), add a set of resonators before the mufflers, or add Dynamat to your trunk floor. You would be best off talking with someone who has that setup on their car to see if they have noticed the same issue. There is a member here with that system on a V6.
