Post Crafty's 2000 mustang build. sorta

k well it's my sixer so i figured why not put it in here..
basically i'm parking the car now. i know it's a little early but w/e.. i have a massive nasty air vacume leak somewhere on my stock manifold, and my clutch is on it's way out, and my suspension needs to be finished for the new year. oh i forgot to add i have to prep it for nitrous

i'll be trying to add as many pics as i can to this thread. my basic goal is to beat a certain turbo civic next year at the drags... well two actually...

i'll start off with current mods:

4.2L F150 swap (kept 3.8 heads. to be ported)
spec stg2 clutch
tri ax short throw
3.73 gears
steeda comp springs
and i went on a diet

plans for '10
(keepin realistic)
windstar intake
8.8" with 3.90
180* thermostat
GT rear sway bar
c/cplates
100 shot of nitrous
05-09 mustang seats
rear seat delete
(maybe) ported heads
and some really stickey tires lol

and yet more dieting lol

so we'll see how she goes... i want to get most of it done before it gets too too cold...

Good call on the 05-09 seats. I drove to vancouver and back from calgary with no pain whatsoever. My 2002 GT Convertible seats were back breaking after 15 mins. Maybe I'm just to sensitive lol. Good luck with the plans dude.

yea no worries. i have already had a shot at it and it wasn't running really well... so that's why i'm parking it to work on it. but damn does it look cool on the sixer!! lol the extra power wouldn't hurt either. the only thing i'm doing different is i want the intake to be fender mounted or at least clean it up a bit so we'll see how she goes..

i know.. it's not the fact that they hurt it's just that every time i sit in a newer GT the bolster is a lot better for cornering and the head rests are taller and actually get to my head it's either black leather GT seats or go with corbeaus (SP?) seats that look similar.
