well the parents are pissed.. three cars is too many aparently.. and with another talon coming at the end of the month.. the sixxer is gunna go. had a chat with the boss yesterday and did a little research we found a few GT's (some even 05+), two decent cobras, and a mach one all at the dealer auctions.
so now the plan is to get the Tsi AWD out here from cranbrook, get it up and running ASAP, keep the navi engine for a possible straight up swap (bought it cheap enough that it's not an issue), pay off a bit of the civic and look into trading it in on a newer stang.. i know it's kinda saddening, but basically here are some figures i've been working out for a week now:

Frame work: $4200 Labour and paint included
paint: $12000 (grabber blue done at a freind rate with professional shop)
body parts left: $1000 (cobra hood/bumper)
V8 conversion parts: est. $1000 +/- 200?
Suspension parts: $2500

Total V6 rebuild costs: $20900 est.

where as i can pick up a 99-01 cobra for 17k, a mach1 for 20k and newer 05+ GT for even 16k.
plus afer trading in the civic it shouldn't be too too bad for payments seeing i only owe another 10k on it right now. looking around maybe it being a flat trade if not VERY close on a 05-06 gt, and keep my payments the same. also with picking up a second job with the army reserve i wont quite have the time to do a rebuild, but will have some cash to save up.

i hate this... and i miss my stang.. :banghead: but eventually i'll own another :bleh:

well i'm prob gunna end up looking for an 05+ gt. and go from there. the Tsi is still gunna be the faster of the two :P it'll be sad to see the stang go, but at least it wont go to a crusher, my uncle says he might have someone that would like the shell.
