First of all I would like to welcome you to CMOC.ca enjoy your stay and glad you could join.

As for upgrades...It is a V6 and I don't really want to tell you that it is a waist cause some people would rather a V8. I would personally say by a V8 Mustang and start from there, rather then sink all your money into a V6 and not get anything out of it.
If your into V6's thats ok im not gonna razz on you im just trying to point you in the right direction on were to start

You can put an Exhaust system on, some Under Drive Pulley's, a bigger Throttle body, etc... this is all the small stuff to get you started.

I hope this helps, and please don't take the V8 thing the wrong way it's just were "I" would start.

lol dont listen to him i've got a 2000 V6 that'll rip past any stock V8 stang/camaro, and keep up to most Termi stangs (not all). It all depends on how much you want to spend.. I put just over 5k into mine and got a 4.2L stroker on spray. and right now i'm saving up for an M112 Blower kit for the V6 as well. I'll admit if you want huge numbers (500+hp) i'd get a V8 and start from there but i love my V6. if you have the motivation for power, TMA makes killer turbo kits for our sixers.

here's a link to something i posted a while back about V6 performance
https://www.cmoc.ca/forums/t10938/

also a good place to look is 3.8mustang

good luck with the sixer and i hope you stick around

You can get impressive numbers with a V6 its how much money you wanna spend and what you future plans are with it.

Sounds like you have a little sleeper on your hands

Welcome from a V8 owner, as far as mods, cold air intake?? How about a chip? and ya exhaust, those three plus a eibach pro spring kit are on mine....

Good Luck, post some pics and keep us posted on your progress.... a mustang is a mustang 4, 6 or 8 cylinders
