I hope you've got her insured for a pile of cash, because I think she's a rare beauty that should be protected. Really nice job.:tup:tup:tup

yea something just doesn't seem right.is the dyno operator a competant technician?is his dyno out of calibration or getting bad readings from his connections? i'd try another .

kena 07-09-2010 06:02 PM

30% through an automatic drive line is not unusual especially on a Mustang Dyno (MD600 if I recall correctly) if you lost 30% through a Dynojet then maybe you could complain. MD's are typically stingy dyno's.

Thanks :). It's comments like yours that make me glad I went ahead with the build. No farms were sold but my '07 Coupe & savings account were sacrificed to complete the project.

There are 16 registered CS6 cars, only two are known to be Turn2 verts - the other is a white '07 so to the best of my knowledge she is a one of one (based on year, colour, level of conversion & bodystyle).....and yes she is insured with a very healthy agreed value policy:D.

That looks good. :tup

kena 07-14-2011 10:52 PM

Well got my 4.0 to a 14.3 N/A and that was it for me. I am now a 4.6 /5.0 stroker also N/A. We will see.

ChadStang 07-14-2011 11:02 PM

As many stangs as I have owned I've never had a V6. I would consider a new 3.7 for sure though.

Hells yah....get the same horsepower that the '05 to '09 GT's had and pay less on insurance and gas for less cash than the new GT.

Ray Spencer 07-15-2011 08:13 AM

My V6 puts out an estimated 243 hp not bad for a modified 05. Fast enough for the girls I go out with.

SNAKEBITE 07-15-2011 04:15 PM

^^^same here lol

ex91 07-18-2011 09:18 PM

my 4.0 made 348 hp and 365 at the wheels on a stock motor just a bolt on or two even ran a 12.82 last year with 3.55 gears got 4.10 in the car now so we see how much better it willl be

kena 07-18-2011 09:24 PM

Ya sure....if you call a supercharger and or NOS or a Turbo a bolt on. I can assure you it was not a N/A car as those numbers are about 100 each too high. Sheeesh.

ex91 07-18-2011 09:28 PM

stock motor with a bolt on lol vortech and a few pounds more boost that the ho kit comes with

kena 07-19-2011 09:11 AM

Yea I am not too sure what my 4.0 will do as I am adding a BOLT-ON 5.0L with a couple of BOLT-ON cylinders and such.

ex91 07-19-2011 10:38 AM

Lol nice iv got a 4.6 that I'm going to bolt in to place with my vortech bolted to it... You getting new car or putting a 5.0 in what you have???

kena 07-19-2011 04:31 PM

SNAKEBITE 07-19-2011 04:58 PM

ex91 07-19-2011 05:01 PM

4.6 stroked to 5.0 or push rod 5.0 or new 5.0?

kena 07-19-2011 09:43 PM

Stroker Saleen kit 10.5:1 CR

SNAKEBITE 07-20-2011 11:13 AM

Seems to still be somewhat conservative re compression ratio.
