Interest in a Medicine Hat Gathering?

Having lived in the Hat for a whole two months now I fully admit I may have missed something but there does not seem to be a Mustang Club here despite the plentiful supply of Ponies.

What interest would there be, from any Hatters on here, in a MH Mustang Club? Nothing too formal, just a way to get stangers together for a cruise/show n' shine/ice cream run.

Let me know your thoughts please folks.

Did someone say ice cream? Soft serve or old school scoop??:wiggle:

Hahahaha Seriously mate, good luck getting some blokes together for a Mad Hatters meet!! :tup

My thoughts, one Pony to another.:D

UK...you should make a run up here on a Wednesday for our meet at Deerfoot Mall, weather permitting. We are finally seing 200+ cars. Last night was perfect weather. Or cruz up on a weekend and we can gather some stangers and ride out to Cockrane for some of their famous ice cream and make a day of it. Normally on a weekend I head out there to meet up with a buddy of mine. (Ross) he has four mustangs in his stable ( 2 Shelby GT's, 1 bullit and a GT) We sit in his garage and shoot the all day while working on something on one of our stangs.

Cheers

Good luck with your idea, me I'm afraid of the highways.

Hey Paul. I was up around your place yesterday at about 4:30. I was going to give you a call but I just wanted to get the F***!!! out of downtown. Ahhuuugghhh...I hate Stampede time.

SNAKEBITE 07-09-2010 09:38 PM

Good idea.

Facebook page doesn't work dude. I don't bother with that sort of thing, so I guess you have to be a member to sign in? I'm not a Mad Hatter, but I was being nosy.:wiggle::D

Hmmm, it works when I click on it - I'll check into it.

Sure it would work, if you set it up, no wonder there. What I'm saying is that it looks like you have to be a member of Facebook to see what you're trying to do. I'm not, and when I click on your link, all I get is a "Sign In To Facebook" page. No big deal, 'cause I live too far away to make the drive, but if you want people to check it out , and they don't want to be part of FB, your out of luck

That's hilarious. Proof positive that it's fun to chase after beaver, but not all of them are fun to actually catch. :lol

I don't think they should kill a beaver because of a dog dying. Am I alone in this thinking?

Agreed - if the shoe was on the other foot, and the dog killed the beaver, don't think anyone would be writing articles on killing the dog. The article actually nails it - you can't fault the beaver for reacting against a threat, and if the owner had better control of thier animal, we wouldn't be having this discussion, and they wouldn't be looking for a new dog. :D

Well put:tup

Now don't everyone get all upset now.... the last news report we saw they decided to simply trap the beavers and relocate the family.

It turns out it's a mom beaver defending her new pups.

All will be Ok...
