Talking Road Trips 2013

Hey everyone out there...anyone got any leads on possible 2013 Road Trips for us Western Stangs?
Anyone want to suggest a get together for the Spring of 2013..lots of time to plan a weekend meet or drive...ie..Edmonton Raceway road course....some scenic drive..some private get together at a Ford dealership for a S&S/BBQ..??

That's a great idea. Could meet at a show somewhere as well.

Yeah with this much time to set it up, surely we can make it happen. I would be interested in a meet for sure, I gotta get some miles on the Stang next year.

Talking Mustang event

OK everyone we need to the word to local city types and see if there is some interest.

Secondly a place that we could all mee at with accomodations for the weekend or driving distance for a day trip.

Third..a date we can all agree to...

From Saskatoon..I like Lloydminster // Red Deer // Med Hat // Swift Current

Date wise i would go for a mid June before things get hectic with kids and holidays..

...thoughts??

All sound good to me but Lloyd might be a little far.

Yeah I like Red Deer / Lloyd / Edm. Whatever works, and as for the date, as long as I have a bit of notice I can make it work.

OK looks like we are getting some interest. Now can we the word? Maybe we should say Red Deer as a first choice?
How many can we realistically think could gather? Does anyone know of a dealership in Red Deer that might let us use his parking lot for this and maybe a few games??

Looking ahead at a date, I'm thinking mid June might not be so good, with "Father's Day" and all, families may have other plans or company expected??? I know May is a bit early, and who knows what the weather will be like, but just a thought, if we're going with Red Deer, they have their annual swap meet May 3-4th. Or if we wanted to wait until the end of July, which you already mentioned might be a bit hectic with holidays and such, but there is the annual "Rockin Red Deer - Super Run" that they usually hold at the end of July/early August.
Again these are just suggestions, but we don't have to organize it around any other events, I just thought in case people were interested in making a weekend of it.
I'm really looking forward to this actually happenning, so whatever works for everybody else is absolutely fine with me.
