Yep, the regular Nitto 555 tires are a good wearing street tire for your daily driver. The Nitto 555R street drag radials are softer, stickier and won't last as long. And, the R's can be a real Bit&% in the rain.

That 100 k was without burn-outs and no smoke shows.

I actually don't do a lot of burnouts and such, tires are too pricey,lol

My street tire is the BFG KDW. Great tire and awesome in the wet. Depending on what you want for the car, the Direzza Star Spec or the Nitto NT05 are very good street/performance tires.

Still rolling on my Goodyear F1's might try a set of nittos next time! Funny thing... it's cheaper for me to buy wheels and tires at American Muscle than 4 tires at 1010...

I saw a review of performance tires recently and the consences winner was the BFGoodrich g force T/A KDW. Pricey tires here in Canada but then most performance tire are expensive here.
