What tires do you have?

I had the F1's on my 07 GT500 and they were garbage. I am actually pretty happy with the Pirelli's on my 2013 but the wet traction isn't the greatest.

Well after my oil change the dealer tells me I got 3/32nd left on the rears and 4/32 on the front with the tire gauges, so after this season or maybe sooner I'll be getting something. I'm not very good at telling how much wear is on a street tire like these, unlike my trucks mudders. So I guess I'll take their word for it.

I second that. My F1's are pretty much had it after 8,000 miles. They are also seriously bad on wet road...not that I drive on wet a lot of wet but sometimes you get caught. I'm thinking about a set of Cooper's next or maybe Nitto's.

We are running Michelin Pilot Supper Sport. still have the factory wheels and Pzeros with around 5000 km on them. The Michelins were well over 2400 in red deer but bought them off tire rack and just under 1800 delivered to my door. From what I read they were the best preformance tire that was all so good in wet conditions which I wanted a good tire against hydroplaning. check out the link.

I'm not going to mention any supplier names, but someone I know ordered tires online, and got an extremely good deal, but when he went to the local tire shop to have the tires installed onto his rims, they asked him if he was aware that the tires were expired! Yes that's right expired. I'm sure most of you know that tires do have a shelf life, even if they have never had a mile on them. I'm sure most of you know how to tell the expiry date on your tires, but just in case, here's a link to a site that tells a bit about decoding the expiry date on tires.

How to get someone to walk around in the evening shining a flashlight on the tires of all their cars in the driveway? Thanks DD.
So now I know the manufacture date of all my tires, except one. Seems that the HydroEdge tires on my Concorde don't have anything stamped in that rectangle. I have other Michelins on the Sierra and they have a number, so not sure what's up with the HydroEdge.
