Mine stick like glue in dry pavement and are very good in wet weather.
I had stock BFG and Perelli's on my '05 and current '08. The Super Sports are the best tires I've ever had period.
You will NOT be dissapointed.

If you're able to pick these up States side it might be worth your while. I saved $500.00 on the set by getting them over there at Discount Tire.

I'm up 7K now with the stock pirellis p zero summer tires and they actually pretty damn good they are quite on the highway and the traction is just fine. I don't do any smokeshows or anything like that but I have driven my car at higher speeds and the pirellis perform very well.Michelins super sport2 do get great reviews but they are pricey.Just go with your gut instinct and your pocketbook, the area where you live will also come into play as well, here on the wet coast we do need tire that will perform in the rain,if you don't get much rain the go to a stickier tire.Good Luck Now my question for people is if your going to drive your stang in the winter what tire u going to use.I just priced out some blizzaks and almost had a coronary when I was quoted a price, any suggestions

Increase your budget for winter tires. No substitute for having some real winter tires, average the cost over five years and consider the extended life on your stockers, and it's worth it IMO. Check into the off brands, I don't think they're priced like the Blizzak's, CTC is advertising Goodyear Nordic Tracs for $36 and up this week.

The tire shop I deal with is going to get different prices on a few tires from hankook, michelin et al,so we'll see price wise how it works out.I'd love to try different businesses but I'm a courier and this shop does a lot of business with me so I want to return the business as well I'm kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place.I live in a town with basically 2 tire shops not much choice I guess I just have to suck it up and bite the bullit.

Tire rack is where I have bought our 20 inch pilot super sport for the stang and blizzaks for my f150. and a set of perrillas for my f150 as well. They are by far cheeper then any tire shop in alberta even with the shipping added on top of the price.

I'm betting if you jacked up the prices you charged them, it wouldn't be long before they went somewhere else. I wouldn't have any sense of loyalty to them , dudes right about tirerack, a buddy of mine got a set of tires for his truck, even with $50 per tire UPS shipping, he still got a better price than the local shop. That's free enterprise my friend, and if the local shop gets pissy about it, tell them they need to stop gouging the locals who support their business every day, 'cause there's always someone else who will be willing to offer a better price. Roll on !!

My Tires and wheels were cheaper (total cost to my door) then just the tires in Red Deer. I have no loyalty to anyone except my wife and myself when it comes to money. Your local shop won't give two s**ts if you use him or not. I was loyal to a Ford dealer in Rocky Mountain House bought 8 new cars and trucks there in 10 yrs and when I went to trade in our 2008 F350 would only give 24k on a 2013 f350. would not budge. Ford In Med hat gave us 28k sight unseen just a few pics I sent them. So what is the point of Loyalty it should go both ways.

I agree about the loyalty thing, I've used a local tire shop here for my work truck and for winter tires for the focus. The work truck gets a set a year. But thy don't have anything under 300 bucks per tire for the stang. Heck even canadian tire can beet that. Very seriously considering tire rack and the local shop can put them on for me.

Well it never hurts to talk to the tire shop a little bit they have gotten within $60 bucks per tire compared to tire rack now lets see how they do with rims.I'm a little surprised at the venom so to speak about local tire prices, due to volume these shops just can't compete with the big shops like tire rack but let them try to get close. These people support local businesses as well which is good for me because I depend on store staying rather than closing, more freight for me means more money.I live in a isolated smaller community that is getting hammered by online shopping which yes does help me but it means more local business owners are getting hurt.I know I know it's a free world out there but I don't want it to look like small town USA empty store front after empty store front.Let these guys try to compete they want your business
