Here's my take as a customer on my recent KenneBell install and tune on a 4.6l 2V. I chose to go with the talented team at Steeda.ca/MPW and here's why:
1) I sat in the bleachers as one of the better known shops (not a sponsor here) installed and tried to tune one of the first KBs in Ontario...and it was a nightmare...fortunately for my stomach lining..this was not my car. While I understand that $h1t happens...the car was let go while it was not running right. The customer was unhappy to say the least...and to make a long story short...the Steeda/MPW guys fixed the car and got it running like a champ.
2) During the determination of this car's issue...KenneBell was convinced that the shop who did the original install made an error somewhere, and the issue was a vacuum leak. It should be noted that before July of last year, KenneBell kits were equipped with the DiabloSport chip available at that time. Well Meister and the team at Steeda.ca (who frequent this board) disagreed...with KB, and told them this was a tuning issue!
3) Well, you can imagine KB's response when some young "punk" with no "tuning" noteriety starts claiming that a blower manufacturer in business for nearly 30 years is the one responsible. BUT...Meister backs up his claim with HIS custom SCT tune on this car...and guess what...the problem is fixed.
4) Meister shares all his findings with the folks at KB, and three very interesting things happened almost immediately. First off...Jim Bell (Prez. founder and CEO of Kennebell) makes a call to congratulate Meister for a job well done...second, he gives Steeda.ca the endorsement of being KB's choice for the dealer/supplier/installer for Ontario. And last..but not least...KB switches to SCT.
While I can understand that some installs/tunes can be a PITA...letting a car go back to the customer while not running right is inexcusable...and there were "other issues" with this particular car...issues that were obviously "short cuts" taken due to demand on this shop's time, and the obvious inablilty to keep up with demand.
The boys at Steeda.ca/MPW have assured me, and I'm sure every other customer, that the car won't leave until it's right...and it's safe.
They maybe young on paper, versus most other shops...but talent cannot be judged by a birth certificate. I'm 38...so I think I've lived long enough to make an accurate judgement. To put things in perspective, Meister's sharing of knowledge online has made some of the "big" shops go back to school...just to keep up. He's educated the car owner...and because of this...we can ask very important questions that were previously side-stepped by certain shops...and it's a better market for us now. He shouldn't be bashed...he should be thanked!
It should be noted that the Steeda.ca/MPW joining last Fall...makes for a sweet team. Mike Grella (aka MPW) is wrenching on all the rides...so if you're looking for experience...it's there.
These guys did my KB install and tune...and the job was first rate. Awesome pricing, professional courtesy and customer service...show quality install...and a tune that just freakin rocks. Tune is ultra-safe, and we picked up more HP than KB did.
I'm sure every shop has their share of horror stories...but as a customer...I can't say enough about the ones who are responsible and proactive...the ones who understand that today, the computer is as important as the pistons..maybe more important.
Sorry for the long post.

Bought a kit that promised an additional 106 rwhp... and got 115.
I don't need to boast about making 500-600-700 hp...I'm very happy with the ample size of my pecker.

I can vouch for what Tim has stated!!( Other than the size of his pecker)
I was the first KB that was done by that other shop!( which by the way will stay nameless and I will NEVER recommend to my worst enemy)
Secondly I too agree that Pat and Paul at Steeda.Ca did an AWESOME JOB with getting my car running ACES.
I have now decided to TEST THEM once again and have them RE-TUNE my car after the new VT Sportsman shortblock goes in and we up her to 14PSI.
500 RWHP+ Here we come!!!!( DO I FEEL CONFIDENT THAT THEY WILL SUCEED)
You BET I DO!
That is one shop I recommend on a daily basis to anyone.
GREAT WORK GUYS!!
