We are always looking for somthing better, I think most would agree we dont have the perfect set up, and personaly I'm going to keep looking until I find one...thats the fun in it, and if buying a newer model gets me closer to what I'm looking for so be it.

plus I admit I'm addicted to new car smell... :laughhard

Was just my opinion .And you said it,it's a hobby,some build a car for the love to build a car,then get board,and sell to build another,while some build to keep,but not to have the next new thing on the block...i would think.But bying a new car everytime a new one comes out is a person's thing,great for that individual.
I would like to see in the future on how much that person spent on a brand new car with trade in,or not for everytime a new model came out.
All i got to say is,if they got lots of money to through away,hey through it my way :biggrin: . :tongue:

I bought the Bullitt in 01. Kept it through the two years of the Mach's and the 03/04 Cobra. I was jerked the Mach got the 4 valve and the Bullitt didn't, so instead of trading the Bullitt I just modded it. Now that it's as far as I want to go with it and it's paid off I got the itch again.

I did want to build a dedicated track car, probably a fox body and I went so far as to look at a couple when my wife informed me that she'd rather I buy a new one than build one. At least the new route meant I could drive it whenever I want to rather than trailer to track, rip half a dozen passes and then back in the garage taking up space.

How could I argue with her logic? Only thing I said was that I wanted something different. Only thing coming up was the GT500.

And that's my story. the Bullitt stays put and we will put a lift in the garage to accomodate everything.

Well, I love the car but priorities change in life. I just spent more on a house than i ever thought I would, and would like to increase my net worth as opposed to spending huge amounts on the car "pit", and cars are just toys. Maybe in a few years, but i dont have that need to have the newest one out their. In fact I still really like the fox bodies the best. And my car is still much faster than the 07
