agreed, I think the only problem you had before was the IRS...

Rear Seats Out: 50-70lbs
IRS Out: 100lbs (rough estimate)
Stock Hood Off: 10lb or more

I guess that is it, so I have taken out 150-200lbs probally....

In race trim, I will have mugh lighter wheels and tires (which is rotatinal mass, so it counts for more).....my street wheel/tire setup in total is about 50lbs lighter than stock

I want to take the AC out as well. I want my car down to around 3350-3400lbs. Next year I will do K-Member, A-Arms, etc

If you want to get really technical:

Removed front swaybar (which includes endlinks and some bolts, HA HAHA. Swaybar is probally around 10lbs too

yeah dropping the front swaybar is essential... I wouldn't take out the A/C though, that keeps the car more streetable. Not to mention with this weather, it's needed.

The K-member will save you HUGE amounts of weight.

I was talking about the GT being an auto.Wasn't a fare shot for the GT.I know it doesn't compare to it's bigger brothers,but could have been more fare it it were a stick aswell,instead of the STOCK FACTORY slowmatic.
And believe me,i'm not stang illiterate.

The Stock Auto with some tuning KICKS BUTT

I will be putting a 4R70W in my car next year I think

We have a 00GT with a Novi 2000, Water Meth and Drag Suspension running 11.7's with the stock auto by putting the car in D and mashing the gas....shifts like a top
