Well it's time! Yesterday was a great day, +15 and sunny, so I took her out for one last drive, and spent pretty much the whole afternoon just cruising around Lloyd., until my appointment at Ford at 5:00. I had them change the oil, check all fluids including antifreeze mixture, and overinflated the tires a touch. Then went over to the gas station and added some StaBil and filled her up. Then just before driving home I gave one last bath and then went for about a 10 minute cruise to work the fuel through the system, and parked her in the stable. Polish and Wax will start tonight along with adding some bounce sheets and desiccants in the car. These can be purchased and laid on the floor front/back. This prevents any mildew or moisture and keeps leather from deteriorating due to accumulated moisture. I sure hope it's a short winter!

This Mustang is truly an addiction....I think I might need some professional help. I hadn't driven her in a week, parked in the garage because she needed some TLC (washing) and it's been cold lately and usually dark when I get home from work. Finally decided I better get her cleaned up and the best I could do right now is the car wash. So yesterday I took her out after not driving her for over a week, it was pure pleasure. This morning on my way to work I wanted to just keep driving....no destination....just wanted to drive. Forget the professional help...I think I just need a winter car that makes me feel that way.

Just bought a OEM California Special cover for mine on ebay. Its going to be in the garage for winter. Saved a ton of money. The dealer price was like $500 bucks. Got it for 147.00 plus 40 bucks shipping from the US.

I just bought a 2002 Roush Stage 2 GT convertible....
Wondering if I need to use a trickle charger like I use on a 1999 Porsche Boxter when stored over the winter? If so, any suggestions as to a specific type, or will any trickle charger do, or is taking out the battery enough? Also, do I need to hyperinflate the tires (also a must for the Boxter)?
I know it's spring, and I don't want to depress anyone with my winter questions, but I'm new to this, and chargers are currently on sale
Any other storage advice would be helpful!!
