Yah, you can crack the windows but then the inside gets dirty even sitting in garage. (I'm a bit of a car neat freak, SNAKEBITE can identify with my affliction...LOL). So leaving the hood cracked works. I do use a battery maintainer now but I still leave the hood cracked as well.

I hear you on that one. I'm the same way when it comes to taking care of my stang.

If your car is stored in a garage and you use a car cover I still recommend using the thinnest poly to throw over the cover right to the floor front to back and side to side. It is amazing how much dust will migrate under the cover.

You got that right. Dust is a lot like cockroaches...gets in thru the tiniest of cracks.

You almost need a huge bag and one of those vacuum deals that sucks out all the air, like you see on the infomercials for vacuum packed clothes or food. lol That might solve the dust problem!!

DO NOT start the car every once in a while over the winter - its the WORST thing you can do. Disconnect the battery and store it inside over the winter - but not on the concrete floor of your basement. If you smoke in your garage I might also recommend leaving a box of the old arm and hammer in the car to soak up any odors. That's it that's all. Been doin it this way for years and I've never had a problem.

Buy why are we talking storage so soon ... Its only August. Talk about a buzz kill.
I should probably know this, but why is it, that you say DO NOT start the car every once in a while? What does this do? Does it have something to do with the oil building up in the intake?

I know on short runs times you can build up a lot of condensation
