Ours is stored outside...it sucks! We live in an apartment. I usually fill the tank & add Stabil, change the oil, fresh wash & a couple coats of wax. Put the ugly OEM wheels back on & remove the battery as well. I don`t use a cover on it. I`m afraid with the wind blowing, dust & crap may get underneath the cover and wreak havoc on the stang.

Good call. On my first Stang and it's first winter I covered it and what a mistake. The wind got under the cover and got it flapping and scuffed the paint on my roof. The only cover I might consider outdoors would be one of those really heavy canvas ones as long as it was tight but then moisture may get under it and cause more issues. In the end wax is probably your best bet for sure.

Everyone I talk to thinks I'm nuts for not covering. I'd rather have the snow pile up & melt off...instead of crap rubbing on the paint for 6 months. 6 months...God that sounds horrible...don't even wanna think about it...lol!

You are absolutely right StangMan, winters here in The Hat tend to be windy and dusty at times. A cover would be a disaster.
My previous stang(03 vert) got store outside one winter. No cover and it came through perfectly.
