The cold air intake sounds and looks good, but won't do a bunch for you

Plugs would be a good idea if they haven't been changed, but stay stock

Gears are a great bang for the buck, I'd put the intake money towards them.

Exhaust is a great option as well, it may not make a huge difference in performance but your ears will make you think otherwise

So when you guys talk about gears.....what would be a ball park cost $$$$, and would anyone recommend someone to do it, ideally on Vancouver island but Vancouver would work at a push. ....Chad, you got me a bit confused, the CAI sounds good but wont do a bunch....exhaust wont make a huge difference but your ears make you think otherwise?? Lets assume I have 2500 dollars to spend.....what can/should I do...also recommendations for a tuner, thx for any advice.

Larger diameter CAI and a tune complete with a flash programmer of your choice

Mufflers to get it sounding right

Drop springs to get it looking right.

Is it a manual car? If so 4:10 gears. Although I do t think you can get all this done for 2500. Might be able to if you buy some stuff used

The performance gain from the CAI is minimal, but it will change the sound of the engine from inside the car.

The performance gain from the exhaust will be minimal, but the sound difference is worth it.

Depending what you want $2,500 might get you gears, tuner, exhaust and CAI, if you spend a little time on kijiji and find some used parts.
