I am going to do the prime myself. Have some experience with it. Not sure who will do the finish.

If I screw up the primer I can always sand it out and start over.

Very true.

I have another question. I am sanding down the body and finding several layers of paint and bondo. Plus another filler, grey or metal color? I am finding it under the bondo. Is there a grey body filler? Almost looks like a resin for fiberglass but not finding any fiberglass mixed in.

Alot of guys use metal to metal body filler for the ground coat.It is a grey/silver looking filler.Body fill with metal mixed in.
