They always seem to be pretty quick when it comes to taking the money out - giving it back - not so much.

So I finally sold the car. I had a few low ball offers I turned down. Most were offering $1500. I was originaly asking for $2750 for everything. over time I started to get discouraged, and I lowered it to $2500.

At one point I even considered taking one of the offers. But then I recieved an email by a Father and his son. The son was really excited about restoring this car and convinced his father to contact me. He offered me $2000. He told me it was all the money his son had and they plan on restoring the car themselves. I agreed under 2 circumstances. One that I would keep the rims and winter tires to make up the difference. And two that as soon as they finish the repairs they would send me photos of the car.

In the end Im happy, the son is happy, as for the father, he prolly has a headache, but happy ...Those are the best deals.

Then its buy a Mustang.

That's pretty cool! Did you send them this way. Would love to see the finish product.

Sounds like it worked out great for both parties. Glad it went to a good home.

Glad to hear you told them to send you pics. I would have done the same. Hopefully they will. Sounds like she went to a good home. Thats some consultation at least. Good luck with the house and the car. Where abouts did it go?

ha ha ha I can just see the kid pestering the hell out of his Dad to get himself a Mustang to build. I bet he's already spent plenty of time in the drivers seat seeing himself ripping down the road in a big cloud to tire smoke!! Cool that it's a father/son project. I hope they come good on their promise to send pics when it's done.

Thanks guys, I feel alot better, I kinda miss her and the thought of her going to a nice home and not to a scrap yard really makes a difference.

She went to Stoney Creek, Ontario. About an hour away, maybe I can get visitation rights?!

I really hope I get pictures, for some reason when I had her I didn't take many photos. I guess you think you will always have time to take photos.

The only photos I have are my avatar and the "Car with _____ Pics! (GAME)" photos next to a crappy Ricer!!
Poor girl. That was like forcing your baby to sit on a drunk mall Santa knee for photos.
