Got and estimate on a Ford performance Tranny cooler setup from DaSilva Racing today.

Cooler, pump, all the plumbing and fittings and install $2059,99 all in.

I think I will be doing this come spring.

I read some where a guy who built one himself. Cost him about 800
give me a few days see if I can find it.

Also the odds of you over heating in Canada are slim.
That said I would likely do same LOL.

Yah, like I've said before, I'm never tracking mine, just don't have the time, and I've never had any issues with any spirited driving and limp mode.

Then again, you could argue why do the sway bar upgrade if you're not tracking it. Good question.....because I want to, thats why. lol

Never say never though, I might hit Grand Bend one of these days and get the bug, and then i'll think about the trans.mission cooler.

As I said I will be hitting the track so for me its a mod that makes sense. As foe being in Canada I doubt the transmission cares what Country its in if its being beat on. I have seen some cooler setups as well done by owners. For me Ford Parts and a reputable installer is important.

I have not had any issues either. This past summer was AF.

the Canada comment was more about temps.
As most having limp mode problems were in Texas and Florida and in mid summer.
But I agree if tracking, makes sense and I would do the same.

As for Mods, Mustangs folks and mods are normal as breathing lol.
Track it once if for no other reason than to really know what the car will do.
It will amaze you, I was not only impressed, but shocked at its capabilities.

I have not done any mods to mine yet, but
I am going to do caster/camber plates
and at Sebring a couple years ago I went to the
Ford track day and they were using Maximum motorsports for that.
I will also install Ford Performance's oil separators.
Other than that I am happy with it as is.

Apocalypse Pony 12-02-2017 07:40 PM

You'll be surprised how much oil the Ford Performance oil separators extract, added bonus is they look like they're supposed to be there, OEM like.

Yah, nothing but Ford Performance parts for me too, love the fit and finish, and its good gear too. Haven't dealt with DaSilva, but heard the name.
