Rear seat delete kit and lowering springs are showing as mid-April availability.

The lowering springs will give approximately 3/4" drop (20mm).....car's already low, but can't resist for the price, ($500 for all four corners), should only enhance the look, and if I hate it that bad, can always go back.

Love that Ford Performance gear, springs work with all components, including the magneride.

That'll look awesome. I've always loved the look of the rear seat delete but my kids would be choked if I did that to them.

Roush SC might be in the cards.

Ignore what I said before, saw a deal on Plasti Dip so I'm going to give it a test on my wheels just to see if I like the look.

I've been considering a front and rear set of black slotted anti-rust rotors for the GT. Getting some paint work done on the front end of the hood shortly and over the right rear fender well. That should be it for this year.

She's pretty low already!! I am already paranoid about scraping. How has yours been getting in and out of driveways etc?

Apocalypse Pony 04-05-2017 03:01 PM

Depends on the driveway and the angle you take. I've backed up on my driveway straight and scraped it, nothing serious though. If I go at an angle, its usually not a scraping situation.

On the topic of spring mods, Ford Performance re-branded an Airaid filter, scooped one up, it's basically the same pricing as Airaid, and the blue matches my blue FP BOSS 302 coil covers...

AP I am thinking of getting one of these although if I take it slow I clear my driveway by mm's

Well, if you clear by mm's, no wonder you're not thinking of lowering springs. lol

Cool ramp, I think thats exactly where I bottom out, be pretty handy, you could use it all summer and get it out of the way for winter. Wonder what the chances are that someone would scoop it up on you ? Guess its no worse than anything else, if they want it bad enough they'll take it.

I'm telling you, this rain sucks. One word of advice though, might be stating the obvious, but theres still lots of dirt/sand on the road. Stupid me, I pulled out of a parking lot yesterday, got into second and decided to get on it a little, figured I was in a straight line and dry pavement, no problem. Well, everything was good until that torque hit right around 3000 to 3500 rpm.....next thing I know the ass end is kicking left and I'm sideways. Backed off the gas and steered out of it, very very lucky this time. Amazing how cold tires have no traction, I figured being in second and rolling at a good clip the tires would bite......yah, they almost bit me alright.

It really caught me by surprise, almost thought I was going into a ditch, so, as always, respect (and brains) is key......luckily , the road was empty and I don't believe anyone witnessed my Tom Foolery.
