Sorry for late response, works crazy this time of year.
I have 19,000km but also 7 in total track sessions.
Front pads were still 30% but could see were very hot. Rotors same.
Back, likely could have replaced pads only, but prefer to be safe.
Also I intend on a few track sessions this summer.
Going in for ceramic coating May 31. Looking forward to this. Got a good price also. Prices are coming down now that there is more competition out there. The brand I am getting has up to 10 year guarantee. Since mine does not see rain and is a garage queen lol I should get most of those 10 years. its the Always Dry 9H LDC (liquid Diamond Coat)
Well, heres something to consider, my pads and rotors are still pretty good, but the thought crosses my mind.....its going to happen someday.
As good as they look, its a hard one to pay $1200 for a coat of paint on a set of calipers that I essentially already have, FP prices the whole she-bang for $2900US lol But soooooooooo goooooood.
LMR has the package for $300 less, but I'm going to price it out with my parts guy next week just for laughs, installation would probably be at least $500.
Thanks AP, I dropped her off today for ceramic coating, will post up some pics when I get her back. Also going to DaSilva in Pickering June 12 for the Tranny cooler install. I will be attending a track day in Grand Bend in Aug if anyone wants to come along.
