We definitely have snow, and I haven't had problems with the 2012. Just get in and drive. I think if you're a person who's accident prone, you might wanna drive something else. I drive like a lunatic in the summer and a granny in the winter. Other than a moose with my Cougar (moose won) and a wayward Kia (Kia lost) with the '92, I haven't had unwanted contact with my vehicles. Both of those I was going slow. Slow=bad. Drive like you're crazy and people get out of the way.

I use to drive rear wheel chevette when i was younger. but last few years i been spoiled with a AWD suv lol. If i can get a stang next summer, i am thinking it will be a options loaded v6 coupe premium. as much as i would love a gt500, for the $11,000 difference i can get a loaded coupe and still save some money.

Winter driving update: it's -30 something, cold and icy, and my 2012 kicks butt on my husband's brand new Ranger and my daughter's Malibu. Plug it in, warm it up, and it's all warm and toasty within a few km's. Studded winter tires and I'm not sliding around like everyone else.

Yeah very good to hear, and actually the colder the better, as far as traction on pavement in the winter time. That's providing the roadways are clear of packed snow and ice....

I can say that even with the -30c temps my winter tires on the company vehicle are still soft to the touch, very neat

Just an update.... I've had no problems driving in the snow around GTA, we have got some snow so far , not much but enough to make it slippery. I also took a trip to Quebec city around Christmas time. They had lots of snow with -20c temperatures and I had no problems. You just have to be alert and keep your foot out of it.
