Thanks Chadstang. I guess with the cool temps the season is over for playing.

Thanks AP....I can't even explain how much I love driving this car!

Snakebite....good question! Not sure if wheel hop or loss of traction can ultimately cause any damage. I definitely need more seat time to learn and I think Chadstang is right about the cool pavement.

Yep, summer tires + cold pavement = easy spinning. Fun too.
Snakebite... Wheelhop can cause all kinds of carnage if you don't lift (your foot).

Wheel hop can cause issues for sure. If you ever feel it lift right away. I have heard of guys trying to drive through it and actually wrinkling the rear 1/4's. That may have been with slicks and at the extreme end of it but it's not worth the risk. If you have a wheelhop issue new control arms will fix your issue. A loss of traction will only cause damage if you lose control.

Yesterday I pulled out to pass another car, I was running at about 70kms and accelerated without putting the peddle all the way down. The pull, the quick shift and immediate acceleration was very cool! A noticeable difference from the stock 3.15. Yep, I'm loving it! Oh yea, and did a little switch on the exhaust too. So now the rumble is just a tiny bit louder.
Just out of curiousity, what did it cost you all together?

Gears (Ford Racing), X-pipe (Ford Racing), SCT tuner and labor = $1870. If you've already got a tuner you'll save $400. The X-pipe was $285.
