GM's TH 350 where really good, and their two speed powerglide is another good one. Not sure about the current years.
With Ford, i have expirienced the C5's, C6's, T-5's, 4R70W, and currently the Tremmec 3650, and 4R75E.
The only one so far that has not given me an issue is the 4R75E..... knock on wood....

I'm no expert, as I've only had my 2012 for a week, and only put on a couple hundred miles, and then parked it, but the 6 speed in mine shifted very smoothly, but it doesn't have any miles on it yet really, so I guess we'll wait and see if develops a problem. Sure hope not.

Just curious, why are you waiting so long for a 2012? Is it a special order or something. The local dealership, where I got mine, had a few to choose from, but only one in GRABBER BLUE
