Switching standard to automatic transmission

I think I am leaning towards leaving it standard, just because there is nothing wrong with the transmission and the car is totally original ...it would just be easier to drive around town if it were automatic.

On another topic- How do you get your car's picture on your posts? Do you have to pay to get that option? I tired to create an album and it would not work.

I did a switch many years ago on a 66 convert. I recall that the driveshaft and cross members were the same. One think I am not sure about is the stock shifter location and the hole in the tunnel. As I used an aftermarket shifter the hole was not the same. The peddle assembly will bolt right in place too.
