The Aeromotive SS series pump was starting to over heat. The pump started osilating in rpms (like it was struggling) and loose fuel psi, I could not maintain the required 7psi for my Pro Systems carb everytime I kept setting my regulator. This would start to happen in only about 10 min of engine run time. The pump was getting proper voltage with motor running checking with voltage meter. I have a 200 amp alternator.
The brake pedal has been modified for the additional leverage converting to manual. I think I have 2 problems. I have to pull the brake pedal back with my foot to keep the brakes from engaging lightly. Also, I get a hard pedal and then I get a very soft pedal. My line lock solenoid is mounted higher then the mastercylinder, this may be causing a problem too?? I have found the tech guys at Wilwood to be very helpful. Good luck man.:tup |
Suscribing to this thread, great build, any new numbers? I just got a 2v built, planning on a 200+ shot on it to, only its a fuelie. Great looking car also.

I'm guessing the fuelie is more consistent/reliable

I have seen the pro/cons to each and luckily I do not have 1/1000 of the skill required to worry about this problem lol

It might be more consistent, would say reliable is about the same, but more power to be had from the carb. Just my thoughts, please anybody correct me if I am wrong. I am new to nitrous, a big shot scares me a little.

I like your style Phil, I almost threw an Edelbrock Carburated intake on mine halfway through the build. Is your system activated at WOT or with a progressive controller?
I have never used a progressive controler. |
