It does seem when some guys get to a certain part of a build with big power, they get board real fast, but yet when we get them stock, or just slightly mod them.... we enjoy them a lot more. Weird!

^^^ No kidding eh. We love the cars, love the power BUT we love streetability too. I love the Mustang, a lot. I'll never sell it. More often than not I find myself grabbing the keys to the Denali then the keys to the Mustang. Hopefully that changes come spring.

Why wouldn't you sell your motor and turbo setup and do a nice windsor, keep it EFI and enjoy it then

It's not the car that I don't enjoy any more, it's the hobby itself. The nearest track to me is 3 hours away, I have to drive an hour to borrow a vehicle that can tow a trailer I have to rent. Just going to the track costs me over $200 and takes the better part of two days by the time I return the truck and trailer.
After hurting my back, working on the car is a literal pain. Spending all winter on the floor of a cold garage is no longer my idea of fun. It's a hobby suited to just one person, it's not something I can enjoy with the whole family either, which is something I'm becoming increasingly focused on. I don't understand why it is so hard to understand why after doing the same thing for over a decade and a half why my interests would evolve and change and that I might want to try something new.

^^ Well I for one say good for you! If your hearts not in it anymore, why push yourself to do it, and then your memories of it will be how much you hated it in the end. If you move on to something else, while you're not totally fed up, you can remember the good times that went along with it. And you obviously want to spend more time with your family, so who can blame ya for that. You should be commended for that sir!

x 3 here. Like I said before, a hobbies gotta be fun - otherwise, somebody may as well pay you to do it.

But you were talking about trading for another car in a previous post. I am just trying to make sense of it. I do understand when a person has a family things change. I don't understand how you say its the hobby yet you want to trade for another car. Why would you build a track only car if its suck a issue going to the track. I don't get it that's all.
