Ok, glad I decided to turn the motor over by hand before I started it. I had some serious clearance issues with the Ultra Bell and my torque converter. So the tranny is coming back out today and putting on a factory small bell housing for a short term fix...

Also, just waiting on my alternator relocation kit, trans cooler, a drive shaft spacer and some silicone couplers....once those show up it'll be time to rock and roll. With any luck I'll be at sparta for opening day april 2nd.

I was up in Kugluktuk Nunavut for 6 months. Just got back not long ago.....

The C4 bell housing issue got real ugly tonight, some hurt feelings, some harsh words, and some blood....I'll give this round to the C4

Sometimes you need the stang win!LOL!Sucks though when it doesn't go your way.Had a similar issue with my first vehicle,a 79 F-100,the C6 was giving me some issues like you wouldn't believe, and i fought to get that sucker in,.....some not so nice choice words with the deepest anger possible were coming out!

Thanks for the help Schlodes. The C4 is back in and there doesn't seem to be any clearance issues now that I am back to a factory bell housing. She was a scrapper thought and fought us every inch of the way.
Also got the drive shaft back in using a steeda spacer. Nice unit, but damn it sure was hard to get the holes lined up right and bolt started without dropping or spinning the spacer lol

The bolts holding the bell to the tranny were hitting the ribbing on the converter.
