Well I finally brought my spare motor over from my buddies place. It doesn't look like much but it ran like a raped ape.

Here's the old motor coming out....gonna miss her.

All I gotta now is clean up the other motor, bolt of a few parts and drop it in. She'll be boosting in no time

You can get some decent Intercoolers though e-bay. The one I used cost me $225.00 to my door. The core is 24X12X4 with 3" inlets and outlets.

Wish I know you needed an IC, I just gave away my modified powerstroke IC. I cut the PS IC in half then doubled it up and addednew end tanks. It was a monster but it would have worked well.

Its coming along nicly. Will you have it out this summer?

I wonder where everyone keeps getting the idea that I need an intercooler, I've posted pics of the two out of three intercoolers that I have and am considering for this install lol
BTW, that's a mean looking intercooler you have there.

Well I'm pretty much finished cleaning the motor. Thought I'd take some pics of it with the headers on for fun. May as well post them....still have to clean up the valve covers and put on the new intake but it gives an idea. I've decided I'm not gonna paint it, I just don't have time to do it all the way I want before I move to the new house so cleaned up is gonna have to be good enough.

Before

after

Looking good. Go to crappy ture and pick up some block enamel. Paint that sucker up pretty. It makes a world of difference.

Well, I have 4 weeks before I move to the new house and no time after work to work on it, SO I've decided I'm not going to paint it. Once I do that I'm gonna have to paint all the accessories and the accessory brackets. Once that's done I'd have to paint the engine, and if I'm going to go to the trouble of painting the engine bay I'm gonna have to relocate all the wires and stuff to the inside of the fenders. It's a downward spiral I'm just not ready for, nor have time for. I've got to get this motor in and the turbos on and everything running by September 1st.
