Which is it, which do you prefer?

its a toss up for me, I love the ROOTS blower due to the amazing amounts of torque, but I also love the look and power of the turbo's, if you can get the turbo's to sppol up as fast as a roots blower I would say turbo's but I also just love the look of the Roots blower on top a motor, just too damn sexy lokin. :D

ease of installation is good with a blower, power is better with a turbo. easier to tune a blower too i hear hmmm

I would go with blower for the price.

its all realitive. If you look at the entire cost, turbo's are not that much more expensive. Put a blower, fuel system (not FMU) headers, MAF, fuel lines and all the other items needed to get the car going. Then add all that up. Turbo kits come standard will all of that stuff.

Where turbo get killed is the 12 hour installation process.

Who does turbo installs and who knows how to tune turbos.

Darrin at Revn' High did one members on the GTAMC's. It was killer setup. 4.6 DSS motor with a single turbo (cant rmember what make). He killed the car dodging some animal appearently. Car was a write off. Too bad. Darrin will just suggest that you order a longblock and he can do the rest. The 4.6's cams are a pain, You can easily install them 180 degrees out. If you do that, bye bye motor.

i would go turbo for all out power.

i would put nos on both the above applications in place of the intercooler at the track and water injection for the street.

I got rid of the nitrous because it costs too much, Even using the washer fluid in your water injection is a pain, still costs money. Peronsally I would just rather twist the dial to the right and add a few more PSI. There are some great benefits to the alchol injection but I would hate ot be out in the middle of no where and run out. I dont think the advace timing would like the boost.

i have a cure for that... MSD 6BTM. twist of a knob and i am safe to beat the crap outta it with 87 octane :)
