Hey Crafty,

I see in your pictures that your rad support is rusting..when mine was in a collision and taken apart we found the same thing. Luckly, it was to be replaced as it was badly bent. But it really surprised me that at the 4 yr mark (my collision was in 08) that the rad support was so rusty. So I think by replacing it, we extended the life of the car by a number of years, as if the collision had not happened the rust would never have been noticed.

yea most of the rust is all in the front of the car, and i'll be looking into replacing most of it. it doesn't take long for canadian cars to get all rusty when they are winter driven... :( but needless to say i think my stang has seen it's last winter

The rad craddle, and front frame rails always get the worse of it.These areas have to deal with rain, snow for some, condensation, and heat,it has hope in hell to stay in mint shape unless it has been oiled from day one in my opinion,or kept in a very dry room.

man.. that GT500 has to be one of the cleanest around that actually get licenced and driven. i bet it rarely get's to see dust.. nevermind rust.. but mind you.. i'd do the exact same thing. :D once my stang gets repainted.. wax and clean everyday :tup i only wish it could look as good as that Gt500...

also wanted to ask you guys for an opinion, i was thinking of getting the whole engine bay resprayed, but i was wondering basicially with what? just paint?
